MISSION STATEMENT:
Word of Restoration is committed to God’s enduring work of transforming lives and our community for His own glory. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
OUR MISSION:
The Cross of Jesus contains within its contours the direction and focus of our ministry: Jesus’ cross entailed a vertical beam and crossbeam. The vertical beam directs the totality of our lives to God, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,” (Luke 10:27a). Jesus’ cross also possessed a crossbeam, the crossbeam signifying our commitment to one another as human beings, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Luke 10:27b).
Therefore, we endeavor to live victorious Christian lives for God’s glory. WORD OF RESTORATION longs to see radical transformation take place in our church and community through our commitment to:
- Participating regularly in substantive, intense worship;
- Submitting to the authoritative principles of the Scriptures through the ministry of preaching & teaching;
- Enjoying authentic fellowship that produces a sense of belonging, accountability & mission;
- Engaging in social services in order to make an impact for Christ in our community;
- Providing a place for college students to worship, connect and be discipled.
